(Some DMG and CGB cartridges originally shipped with a smaller battery. Where technically appropriate, I may choose a different battery type to ensure proper fit and reliable operation.)

 

Battery information:

  • The original batteries were of very high quality and often lasted decades

  • This service replaces batteries that are now at or beyond their expected lifespan

  • The goal is stable and dependable save functionality, not performance modification

Fair use & store credit policy:
If this service is purchased more times than cartridges that actually require a save battery, the excess amount will be refunded as store credit.

  • Store credit is valid for 1 year

  • Can be used on any product or service in the store

When you want the service:

choose between a normal* tabbed battery OR

an upgrade (modification) with a battery holder, CR1616 battery included. (not possible with bigger one)

with the battery holder, changing the battery does not require soldering in the future!

 

*Normal tabbed battery  is a replacement like the yellow batteries form the pictures)

 

NEW batteries are guaranteed more than 3.0 Volt ( as seen in pictures, 0.04 is bad , 3.25 is very good)
